Is provided by a dedicated professional team of 11 pilots who are all certified Masters Mariners.
Pilotage training and development is strictly monitored via APMSCO Marine Team and Jordan Maritime Commission.
The Port is equipped with 40 berths that include the old & new port in the South.
Night time
Night time berthing and unberthing at Aqaba South New Port Basin berths (4-8) is suspended at the time until the Navigational Aids project is completed and ready for use.
Night time berthing restrictions is applicable for the following berths:
- Oil Terminal
- LNG/c D/B to FSRU at AL sheikh Sabah LNG Terminal
- Dangerous Cargoes including chemicals and Ammonia to JFI east
- Starboard side alongside to JFI-East
